Define the target period
Enter your own daily roll use, delivery assumption and buffer. A useful target is assumed consumption during the lead time plus the buffer you chose, less counted remaining stock. None of those assumptions is a live inventory or delivery feed.
Round orders, not the underlying use
The tool rounds the required rolls up to a whole roll, then rounds cases up using your entered rolls per case. It displays the additional stock created by that constraint rather than hiding it.
Check fit before quantity
A well-sized order of the wrong roll is still the wrong order. Confirm the media requirements and selected offer before acting on the case calculation.
Before you decide
- Enter your own demand and buffer
- Round to actual purchase unit
- Confirm specification first
