Choose one counting method
Record sealed rolls by SKU and location. If a printer contains a partly used roll, mark it separately. Avoid counting the same roll in both a carton and a counter location.
Refresh the daily assumption
Use your business’s own consumption records when estimating rolls per day. A busy event, longer receipt template or extra printer can change use. Our tool does not infer demand from business type.
Keep the purchase unit visible
If a seller supplies cases of50, a shortage of21 rolls can require one case under that buying constraint. The surplus is arithmetic, not a recommendation that every business needs that buffer.
